Meet the team
CEO Dan J Rankin
Dan J. Rankin has in-depth experience in managing all phases of the luxury, custom home market. His vast knowledge comes from more than 20 years of luxury, custom home building on both coastal and inland properties spanning 5,000 to over 20,000 square feet. In 2008, Dan is proud to have managed a custom home that won a overall craftsmanship award.
A second-generation home builder, Dan J Rankin followed in the footsteps of his father, Richard M Rankin (RM Rankin Inc.) Custom Home Builder and Ocean front developer.
At GL Signature Homes, Dan led the growth and expansion of the GL Signature Home division as well as cultivated creative and new design processes for the production division. Working hand in hand with the executive team at GL Homes, Dan helped execute the vision of the management team. Being trusted with full autonomy, Dan played a pivotal part in the building development process for GL Signature Homes. Dan has been recognized for his creativity in building design and modern ideas throughout homes which are only found in his homes.
CFO Nishil Patel
Nishil serves as a partner and the vice president of X-1 Unique Homes. Managing investor relationships and finding new growth opportunities in Florida and new markets are what makes Mr. Patel a value-added partner. A serial entrepreneur, he is also the current Managing partner at TMV Natural Oils and Extracts. He heads up international growth for the European as well as North and South American markets. Mr. Patel leverages relationships in international and domestic distribution, manufacturing, hospitality, and private equity to ensure the successful expansion of TMV.
Before joining TMV, he served as the Vice President of Client Development at Gentry Partners, a technology and energy-based venture capital fund based in Chicago, Illinois, which co-invested alongside Kleiner Perkins. MBA from U-Miami.
